Can we erase begging from the world?
Have you ever felt awkward while responding to the beggars?
In this digital, we may or may not always carry cash in our pockets. Even a vegetable seller on the footpath is carrying a UPI payment scanner. If you are a regular commuter in any bigger city then you must be giving some amount or refusing to give to the beggars.
The world is growing so fast. Modernization is at its peak. There are a lot of changes happening in the system, in the world. There are multiple terms in various fields i.e. economic, financial, social, political, technology, research, scientific, chronological, etc. A large number of the population don’t even know about these terms so we can’t expect to understand the changes happening through these terms. The development and changes are so fast that millions of people have been left homeless. They are being forced to beg, even for their daily food. However, there is another face of this coin all the beggars are not homeless. Even we can’t say that all the beggars are begging for their basic needs. In both cases, begging is wrong.
I remember when I was in 11th standard, I gave 10rs to a beggar from my only 15rs, that was left for my fare from coaching classes to home. And there was no other option left except traveling paddle. I still remember that 6km walk.
But I’m not saying that this incident made me think that begging should be stopped. I have been thinking about this plan since I was a child. I have seen people’s rude behavior towards poor beggars and homeless families. I always wanted to do something for them. This mission is a part of one of my multiple reasons for which I’m trying to become wealthy.
In the last 8-10 years, I was busy in struggling to find the right path to becoming rich. But now I realize that the situation is not in my control. I’m not sure that I, alone can remove begging from the earth. Perhaps, I’m unable to provide a home to all homeless families. Even I don’t have funds to support some of the families. Well, I would be very transparent to say that I am unable to provide full financial support to my family, I can’t do this without my father.
So, why am I writing these things up there? I don’t know how many people will reach till this paragraph but I can’t explain the situation better than this. I just want to meet and connect with a group of people to discuss how to achieve this goal of a world free of begging.
